After installing the 25er kernel from extras* my settings were at 125-600 Mhz?!?

So no, Titan didn't fry your device but you definitely did. As I wrote before, some people should stop messing with their device since they obviously don't know what they're doing.

a red light in lead is a hardware error??? when i run the LED test in healthcheck it glows red!!! uh oh

The actual range is 250-600.
The frequency 125 is disabled by default in the kernel but you can unlock it by overwriting "avoid_frequencies".
The reason why the min. is 125 without modifications is that Nokia forgot to replace
125 with 250 in /etc/pmconfig when they disabled 125Mhz in their kernel. there is a bug report for it.

This may be to due some Wifi patches introduced with the PR1.2 kernel.
I'm investigating which patch (incl. my own) causes the higher network latency.
You can fix it by disabling Wifi powersaving but then battery drain is much higher.
hopefully it will be fixed in the next version.

All my experiences so far have been that it is indeed stable already... where is your uncertainty coming from?

I'm running lehto's so i assume i have the older kernel... hence not experiencing this particular detail.

Just in case you are not joking.

The LED glows red because of the setting in HealthCheck, just select another test from the drop down menu immediatelly to the right of the "Test LED" button and different LED variations will be tested...

Again, it is only a test...

No problems so far with 125 but the gurus here seem to say that 250 is better
