Any other options other than sending it back to Nokia?

As I understand it, even reflashing your phone won't reset the lock code. Nokia have to do that themselves.

I assume that you have tried 12345 as suggested earlier in the thread? If that doesn't work, I'm afraid I can offer no further help.

However, if you've got files you wish to get off the N900, like pictures etc., then you can still plug the device in via USB and extract files from it that way as mass storage.

reflash it using flasher.exe from your pc

when finished it'll be unlocked, you still won't know your unlock code but you'll care less

That's a good point. Flashing may not change the lock code, but it may temporarily unlock the phone - never thought of that!

hey..
i tried followin the steps mentioned on the link.. but as soon as i give the last command it shows as if the process has started cos it has thata '%m' in the end.. but it doesnt move on.. countin doesnt start.. i m from india and not even the nokia vendors are able to fix it as none of the maemo based cellphones are launched here yet.. cud u pls help??
