Thanks for sharing. I own a UK purchased N900 and would be moving back to India for good in few days. I know Nokia India would not service my UK N900, but I still feel happy that its getting launched in India soon.

i bought mine for $635 via ebay.com(US), i thought they would ignore the n900 release for India, well its been 4 months i bought it , so no regrets 
P.S: the launching price surely would be >32k btw will Indian 900 have any region based custom firmware sth like they did for n97 (ndtv,cnn ibn widget...etc...) ?
