Don't move the executable binaries. Move only datafiles.

How would I symlink to them then? I only know how to symlink to directories.

Isn't quake holding its datafiles in some 'data' subdirectory?

Well there is /openarena/baseoa

baseoa seems to hold the data files, but it also holds executables. I tried moving baseoa only and symlinking to it and unlike before, openarena started but closed after a second. Before when I moved the whole directory I couldn't even get it to start.

I think you are right about the data files..but unfortunately everything is kept in one folder. So is there any way please?

I don't know the exact OA files, but for mp3 this would be:

Thanks smoku you're the best. It worked. I had to move data files manually one by one and symlink to each one. But now I have 450MBs free so the effort was worth it.

I can finally install widelands now.

If you're intersted would you port 'King of the Road'? It is an old truck simulator so using the N900s keyboard it is playable. It was released on Win95/98/00. It requires a Pentium 2 350mhz and 64MB Ram so the N900 could run it. I used to play it ages agi and it is very much fun.

Downloaded it from Rep, seams to be workin fine so far, played 15 min. Will be a longer session tomorrow.
Have played Settlers 2 alot in my life so this is very appreciated.
Things like this is the best with Maemo, all the good old games!

I can't load and continue a savegame. I get a "Segmentation fault" the first time I press a Button on a Dialog. (the Dialog pops up just in the moment he finished loading the savegame)
