I haven't been able to even see this article on the N800 on either browser or on my work PC with IE and Firefox.

Obviously he didn't approve it since now there's a "Yay iPhone!" post in there.
I prefer sites where the comments aren't run through meatspace filters who show bias.

And I just had to add the following which you might not ever see over there:

Flash 9 support (you know, for the "real internet")
16 GB of REMOVABLE storage space (32GB coming soon with 16GB SDHC cards coming down the pipe)
dual/triple-booting into alternate operating systems
Actual video chat/calling
Use 3G via tethering to a 3G-enabled phone
Removable, user-replaceable battery
standard mini-USB port for data transfer
Ability to use Bluetooth GPS receivers
Ability to use Bluetooth keyboards
A2DP stereo Bluetooth capability (WTF was Apple thinking leaving THIS one out at launch?)

Also, someone has already created a new soft-keyboard that mimics the iPhone's keyboard only it's a little more usable due to larger touchscreen real estate.
And the N800 default "thumb" keyboard is frickin' huge and quick to type on compared to the iPhone keyboard.

Fortunately I kept my text from the first attempt which didn't make it past the moderator so I posted it again today - and it got through, haha!

Woah, Milhouse goes off. Excellent points there too.
I'm sick of everything on the planet being compared to the iPhone and the "reviewer" finding everything but the iPhone somehow wanting.

Everytime I run across an iTard that wants to "phone battle" I just ask them one simple question that usually shuts them up:
Can your iPhone make free phone calls?

The ONE comment that agrees with the writer is suspicious.
The writer's name is Wolfgang Gruener, an obviously German/Austrian name.
The commenter's name is "Bart" and he starts out with "Hallo" which is EXACTLY how Germans spell the word hello. I think that is a plant, either by the author himself or one of his buddies.
Meh, that's really going out on a limb though...

Yes, if I could I would have posted a giant wallpaper of Monty Burns screaming "Release the hounds!" over there.
Hmmm....I'll have to create a little video using a clip from the Simspons movie...

"Ah, Mr. iPhone. There are two buttons here. One sets you free if you have Flash 9 & VoIP support, the other releases the hounds."

Another clueless german.

When i visited germany years ago, I told an electrical / computer engineer friend about this hot new thing called "ADSL" pushing hundreds of kb/s over copper - an american invention - they said 'this is not possible'.

This was 1995. 4 years later germany was still resisting DSL in favor of their ISDN. "Oh dis DSL is not invented heah! Dis american technology can not exist! It must be wrong or bad!" Oh and i shouldn't forget to mention that they wired up ALL of east germany with fiber that can't carry TCP/IP. No really.

Sorry, i'm living in a land of socialists and luddites. Can't even get my tax forms online in pdf form. They still waste billions on outdated office procedures filing all correspondence into three ring binders.

And Wolfgang Gruener is an idiot. I can only hope the next gen germans are less cranially-rectally inverted in the tech department.
