AS I SAID disable all widgets PERIOD. Or better uninstall them.

So first just disable all the widgets from all desktops and reboot and try to reproduce the issue. Please bear in mind that debugging takes sometimes quite a lot of time. Problems do not appear in one day or so so be patient and systematic.
Apparently, it worked. I have uninstalled Foreca and Recaller, reboot, and tested it a few times. I couldn't reproduce this bug.

Then I have installed Foreca once again (no recaller because I realized I don't really need it), and everything was fine.

Will let you know if the bug shows up once again.

Ok, fellows, another surprise from Nokia new PR - now I don't get notification light upon new SMS....I'd say "Down with PR 1.2 !!!"

Also i can reproduce this now. After reading people comments i first thought that this happens even when you are using n900. But this is specifically related to proximity sensor.

Or maybe not. Now it functions normally. Damn. This could be pretty hard one to reproduce.
