I can't download/install this... keep getting this error:

I don't even know what the above is...

There seems to be an error with how the app acquires position.If you set it to global positioning (as is default), or assisted GPS, it never manages to find the position. I had to open a web page that uses GPS, get the position with fine accuracy, and then MAYBe, it would worked. Changed the setting to system default, and it seems to work ok..
ALSO: BuG, no new users (friends) are showing up!! I tried removing the app, etc.. no fix..

Hi all!
I've been using Barriosquare since very early on, and haven't had the issue I have now, i.e. failure to launch.
i thought it may be a conflict w/ another app, so I uninstalled my recent installs, but to no avail. I did the update today, hoping it would right itself, even uninstalled and reinstalled, but still it flashes for a few seconds and then doesn't even begin the initialization.
any suggestions on how to clear everything out and then try installing again?

Wow, a flurry of activity today 
Those of you who are experiencing the failure to launch bug:
Please close barriosquare, open an X Terminal, and start barriosquare (as the normal user, not root):
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/barriosquare/bootstrap.py 1> /home/user/barriosquare.log 2>&1
I know it's a pain to type, sorry
Then send me the file /home/user/barriosquare.log via a private message. This will help me track down why it's not starting properly.

If not, please enable it and try re-installing.
If that doesn't work, please install the PyQt4 Full Install (PR1.2) package and then try installing barriosquare again. Good luck.

still gateway error on friends n900
but mine works fine, both using voda uk, or same wlan
also when i click 'view on 4sq' button... opera opens and says it cant connect to /raise ??
ive never messed with any browser settings at any time, and microb is still main browser,
hoping for a fix for these, and this will be thee no1 app!
