The microUSB issue makes you think it was rushed why? Not everyone has the MicroUSB issue, it's obviously a manufacture error.
As far as manufacturing issues, they weren't Nokia's. It's obvious the PCB supplier provided an inferior product for the motherboard. Copper plating should not remove so easily; looks like a bonding problem.

Not everyone has bullet proof gas tanks, and only a few are involved in explosions. Cost justifies thinner tanks. Now if a tank is poorly made and explodes, I don't think it's fair to consider thin tanks a design flaw. Even if 2-ton tanks would have held.
No matter. For the example of this thread, any design flaw will do. Wrong positioning of headphones, wrong positioning of charger, blue cover that reflects flash, single and flimsy kickstand, poorly affixed under-keyboard bar, you pick.

There are also videos that show if you place a key over the gap, it causes the reception to drop. So not that I think any iPhone oner would have anything metallic in their pocket but that might mean that if you put your phone in the same pocket as your keys, you probably would miss most of the incoming calls.

Same for external antennas. I could have told Apple that. Anyone know what happens when you touch external, bare metal FM receiver antennae?
