Hi all,

the title is my question..

Is there an application to run FM Radio without headset?

any idea ?

That would be so awesome. But i doubt, as the headset acts as the antenna to receive the signal.

it's a hardware limitation. the headphone cable works as an antenna to.

So I guess the question becomes: is there a way to direct audio back to the speakers when the headphones are plugged in, so that they can remain in place as an antenna.

i thought its just software not hardware limitation because the antenna

the idea about use it without headphones, for me i am not have it all the time.

your idea will be great option option

Actually older versions of fmradio had a "bug" where you could listen to the radio without headphones. Of course reception is not that great but it was pretty much OK on a open area.

You might want to file a feature request with fmradio, to bring this old behaviour back

Ofc, check fmradio menu.

A lame work around is, if you have a headphone lying around, which you dont use, cut the the cable and just have the jack in the phone.
