Yes!. I attached a literals.txt file.

On file you will see a lot of (for example)

...
<message>
<location filename="../../DetailedWindow.cpp" line="1049"/>
<source>Name</source>
<translation type="unfinished"></translation>
</message>
...

must be replace for

...
<message>
<location filename="../../DetailedWindow.cpp" line="1049"/>
<source>Name</source>
<translation>Nom</translation>
</message>
...

That's all, and thank you very much

As I already done translations from qtwallet_1.0-2maemo1 source files, I send you them in Qt format (ts and qm files). Tell me if it is ok or not, for you

I did not test them, so I do not know whether they can break or not the wallet ui... I hope not !!!

Good luck !
Attached Files
File Type: gz qtwallet_fr.tar.gz (5.2 KB, 98 views)

As far as I could test, translations seem OK. No quirks on ui

In fact, there is one exception in export dialog from main menu when you want to choose the file type, there are strange characters on last line ???

Moreover, card fields name are not translated because they are not provided in qt translation files. Indeed, if I'm right, they are in "types.txt" file which is not under translation mechanism, I think.

Are there plans to create Windows / Linux / OSX versions of this app, or to use a file format compatible with keepassx as an example?

The main shortfall with all of the n900 wallet offerings is there is no cross compatibility/syncing. Which means having to update wallet entries in two different places.

I think keepassx comes closest but the gui is barely usable on n900 screensize.

Yes, your are right, fields are not translated. Types.txt contains the initial field name, and now they are only in english. could you provide me a translations for them?

Regarding strange characters, I will check what is happening.

thank's

Yes, I wanted to provide a linux version, but at this moment I don't have too much time, them using a compatible format with any exisiting program will be the faster option. Let me some time.

I will keep you informed.

[QUOTE=nowhereman;678446]Hi everybody,

Finally and after PR 1.2 has been relesed, I want to announce the first working version of qtWallet.

qtWallet is a Maemo implementation for a electronic wallet. You can store your private and confidential information into an encrypted repository. A numeric password (up to 16 digits) will protect your passwords, credit cards, passports, ...

Current functionalities:
[I]* Store credit card images
* Browse your information
* Sort data
* Search with keyboard
* Store extra information in extra fields
* Import / Export your data (now include images)
* AES encryption (numeric and alphanumeric password) up to 16 chars
* Change password
*

Gr8 man....Awsome App.....

But does it asks for a PIN/Password when someone tries to uninstall it from App Manager????

If it does'nt then any one can uninstall this App and all Data will be lost.

Since this App is for total security i think it should have this feature

When you remove the application, it will not remove your data. You can install again, and "recover" your data.
