It's outdated though and will probably not work yet(I'm working on a newer version)

Hmm, does this need a specific version of Maemo

Im getting an error on the softupd -vv -v --local

unrecognised option --local

Seems it was added to PR1.1, guess ill have to update the firmware on Maemo first

Now if updating the firmware will I have to go through the whole process of adding Android again (following all of the steps in dj_steves post #2142)

Mr. dj_steve ,, I'm having a problem with flashing the phone in Linux ( tried Linux mint & ubuntu )

may you please write a command to flash using windows as you've done for the old kernel here:

flasher-3.5 --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset,no-ext-wd -f -k zImage-4 -R
