This may be a coincidence, but since installing the Community SSU, when I enter "ps" in X Terminal, I see duplicate entries for most processes (with separate pids) e.g.
Code:
1523 user 1452 SW /usr./bin/osso-xterm
1524 user 34608 SW /usr./bin/osso-xterm
Is this normal?

This maemo 5 post suggests the duplicate entries are due to the use of maemo-launcher. Did this also arrive with the Community SSU? Or have there always been duplicate entries in Maemo 4 and I just never noticed it before?

This has always been the same, you just have noticed it now.

OK. Thanks for the reassurance.

I suppose it's also my imagination that the N810 is a wee bit slower since installing the Community SSU. :-)

Yes, there is nothing there able to slow anything.
Look for a package called diablo-tweaks in the "DiabloTurbo" thread, it contains a couple of tweaks to make things a tiny bit better.
