Once my friend has played with the "Marbles" game, the level/screen advances without the possibility of playing from the beginning (me, for example).

This means that the application saves the phases played, and doesn't repeat. It's great for a single user, but not for sharing the device.

Look for a settings directory. Open the x-terminal and type:

ls -al | grep -i mar

If you find a .marbles directory or anything like that, delete it:

rm -Rf .marbles

This will reset the application.

There's a .lmarbles_profile and a .lmarbles_state file in the user's home directory, so deleting them may reset it (I've not tried this yet though).

I can confirm this (i tried the same thing a few months ago). Just delete those two files and your save games will be "reset".

The level is not associated with the map.

Marble should give a GUI option to reset settings. Sharing in a group, each time I need to say "give me the device a moment, is needed to open a terminal and write a command again"

Thanks.
