N900 water damaged and it boot loop I flashed it and it still happens now I have put it in rice.

The Nokia logo comes up then the dots it gets stuck then restarts

Any other idea's

You should take out the battery, plus everything else removable (SIM, SD card, stylus) and probably open the keyboard, to give it the best chance of drying. You should not try to boot it for at least 24 hours.

did you try booting it while it was still wet?

It was from ebay but it is still in warranty

that warranty doesnt cover water damage, and if they open it up, water damage is a easily spotted.

It may work after it has tried up.

You trying to start it while wet reduces your chances.

If it was salty water, your chances are very low. What kind of dusty environments the phone has been in before getting wet also affects your chances, or how much sweat it has suffered earlier.

You may get it to work, but for a limited time, in case you get corrosion inside the phone.

But you never, ever keep the batteries in electronics that is wet. And when it doesn't look wet anymore, you still assume that it is wet somewhere inside and leave it to try for many more hours. Don't do anything the first 24 hours.
