Hello,

let me introduce a collection of patience (card games) : Mozcards

In fact, this is an adaptation for maemo and a XULRunner port of a Firefox extension.
You just need to have Firefox Mobile (Fennec) installed on your phone, then download the deb file from its homepage, and open it with the file manager.
Firefox is required, because the app used its "motor" (XULRunner), but it's a standalone application, not an extension.

Because it's a first publication, I considered it as beta, but I don't have any problems personnaly.
The first startup is a little slow.

Any feedback or remarks are welcome.
And for those who are interrested by technical points of view, you can see this post on my blog.

Have fun !

Thanks. That link didn't work, but the one on your blog post (http://joliclic.free.fr/mozilla/mozcards/en/) does.

Interesting to see an XULrunner app other that Firefox on N900.

I tried to open the file with the app manager, but nothing happens. Do I need PR 1.1.1 for this to work?

@clasificado
I don't think I can add it into a maemo catalog, because of the fennec dependency, wich is not present in these catalog. I will investigate .

@Midget010
Yes, you need PR 1.1.1 to install it with the file manager. Otherwise you can install it in a terminal with:
Code:
dpkg -i mozcards_1.0b1-1_armel.deb
I suppose you need rootsh in this case.
But that's not really friendly...

1- try to launch the application in a terminal, to see if there's any displayed errors.
Launch a Terminal ('Application menu' > 'X Terminal'), then write:
Code:
mozcards
then <enter>
report me any errors

2- If you use Firefox/Fennec 2.0 alpha, it seems mozcards have some (trivials) bugs currently.
I'll try to publish a new corrected version shortly, today or tomorrow .
If this is your case, you can uninstall Fennec 2.0 alpha, and reinstall Fennec 1.1. Or wait my updated version .
