It's a feature missing from Maemo, and I agree it's a shame. I've become used to email address autocompletion in desktop email clients.

Yeah...True.....But I also find myself unable to select Multiple e-mail accounts of the same contact after pressing the "To" icon on the Compose screen....is it me making some mistake or even this basic feature also missing from Maemo.....????

I can select multiple contacts after pressing the "To" button.
so i guess the the lesson learned is: "if you want a thing done well, do it yourself"
