The term "vaporware" is thrown about incorrectly all the time around here. In order for something be considered vaporware, the company would have to 1) officially acknowledge its existence and then 2) fail to deliver. Since all we know about the n9 at this point is from a leaked prototype, it cannot be considered vaporware.

dont be sure about that there are rumors that nokia is going directly to meego and not announce any harmattanversioon this year. maybe it is right decision cause of for example packaga management and the fact that meego 1.1 is faar from stable. however if rumors are true we maybe have to wait to april 2011 when 1.2 is released

at recent developer events there as been MeeGo 1.0 N on the slides which is harmattan, so they are trying to persuade developers to target harmattan so its safe to say they will release it on something.
i believe harmattan will be less Maemo than we think and they have likely changed a lot of things so there will be hardly any difference between a nokia harmattan product and nokia meego one

One rumour. From a blogger. To do that would be almost completely mad in so many respects.

(Of course, not doing it has many downsides which have been discussed to death)
