I crafted tetris like game Block Drop for touch screen with HTML and javascript with Qt Web Runtime.

You all know what's the idea in the game. As an extra feature, you can save a block to future use by clicking the spot, and take it from there by pressing it again.

Try and comment, thanks!

You can download the game to your Nokia N900 from here. You’ll need to have Qt Web Runtime installed on the device.

Looks pretty good.

Edut: Works really well. No bugs or anything, it's a keeper.

Wow! I'm really impressed. I haven't known that this is possible with the Qt Web Runtime.

I'm impressed. Good work, but echoing what cfh11 said, adding a soundtrack would be -very- nice.
It shouldn't be too hard - make a deb package with midi-support as a requirement, then interface with the medic player and have it play your soundtrack in the background. Shouldn't be too hard - I know the media player has a nice API, and it seems like it should be accessable to you too...

Hi, I like this, it is more handy than the native tetris game on our device.

Is it maybe possible to add the feature that you can hold the "right"/"left" button and it will still move into a direction?

Thanks guys for your feedback!

I already made some improvements to my symbian version of this, I'll try to get them updated to this also soon.

Russian MIDI soundtrack, ok Need to think about adding some music

lingling92: I'll check if that can be added easily.

Hi, now there is a new version in http://jiikoo.com/2010/11/14/block-drop-for-nokia-n900/, with different game modes. Tried to get background midi, but didn't get that work yet, not sure if I can play midi in my wrt widget. If you know how to do that please give a hint, thanks.

Please try the new version out, you might need to first unistall the previous version, if it doesn't seem to work right.

E: High scores are also saved for each mode!
E2: Now you can just press left or right btn to move

Is it possible to deactivate this?
