for all who having problem with 2.6.28.10power44 not showing on multiboot just enter this command in xterminal
code:
root
apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg kernel-power-modules
then
apt-get install --reinstall multiboot-kernel-power

ohhhh man!!! *patting self on back*

i couldnt get into connection mode (U+plug) because i put my device in r&d mode and it would auto start when it got power.

i had this fried battery, that would only allow you to pretty much just boot a phone then die!

i thought that it would only take litteraly about .5 seconds to flash the kernel....

so i opened up flasher

entered the code to flash only the kernel

hit enter, it was waiting for a phone.

i put the broken battery in the device, held the u and plugged in the cable. waited for it to get enough juice to start a load...then...it happened....it had just connected and the magic words appeared... "flashing kernel ..... done"

i put in the good battery and it booted fine!

Guys I know that probably u are pissed because every single time somebody comes here and ask about it.... I'm totally new on that, I've tried everything with the flasher 3.5 but i can't even pass the first step... it says -f not recognized... I know i'm doing something wrong... really dumb in commands.... any good soul willing run a version of the explanation for dummies (me) to help me with that... my e-mail is lourhance@globo.com

Thanks!

2.6.28.10power40

In my case, the multiboot option 0 which should do a stock kernel has also stopped working, so I suspect I need to reflash my rootfs.

However, if people have other ideas, let me know.
Can anyone confirm that??

All people went in boot problems had multiboot installed??

Thanks in advance.

Nope I had boot problems without ever having installed multiboot.
I installed v44 yesterday and all went well.
Today I rebooted and was caught in uboot. Penguin showed and kernel didn't load.

OMG!!

I will stay away for the upgrade by the time...

I'm happyly living on power37 without any problems.

I just would to upgrade but I'm not sure to know how to solve any mess with that.
