Hey people. this is a small but irritating issue that came with PR 1.3 and i do not like it at all!

The phonebook looked like this in PR 1.2:
Name: PR 1.own.jpg
Views: 790
Size: 30.5 KB

But now after updating to PR 1.3 it looks like this:
Name: PR 1.3.jpg
Views: 791
Size: 35.1 KB

I want my phonebook to look like the PR 1.2 one

I wouldnt send a sms to a home phone and my gate has a number that i phone to open it, since I phone it down the road i do this while still in the car and don't want to do it with both hands and one hand is a pain. I keep on hitting the sms button accidently!

Please if anyone has a simple solution to this i would appreciate it!

- open the addressbook
- tap on the titlebar
- choose settings
enable the option to show sms only for mobile numbers :-)

Go to your phonebook, open the menu, then settings and now select "show SMS only for Mobile Numbers" (or something like this, I'm using a different language)

I hope this was easy enought and please don't forget the Thanks Button!

All this time and I've never gone into settings in the address book.

Cheers for the tip.

In fairness, this actually has a use (in the UK at least) because you can actually send SMSes to landlines - the landline will receive a call where a text-to-speech programme will read the text out.

In typical BT fashion the text-to-speech accent is incredibly posh (think newsreader from the 1940s) so it's great fun to make her swear like a trooper for a minute or two

Now there's a new n900 app idea: free(ish) phone sex with posh tottie, tailored to your own exact scripting requirements :-)

Features (from BT website):
* 'The Voice of BT Text will even blow kisses. If you write 'xx' the voice will say "kiss kiss"'
* prefix message with #M or #F to select gender for TTS replay

Limitations: 160 character limit may result in "timing issues" with real-world use cases :-)

Sorry for the wild OT - as a system & application designer/programmer of Premium Rate telephone services, it's in my blood!
