Here's a good summary of the kernel versions based on a test basis.
Kernel-Power with Matan's uboot[v41 to 43] - Works only on n900 with hardware version 2101 or lower than 2204

Kernel-Power with unmodded uboot[v44 to 45] - Works if there is a external mmc on your n900(without microsdhc inserted it get's stuck at uboot cli)

Kernel-Power(plain)[v46] - Works perfectly

Note: I'm not sure about the version numbers I don't remember clearly.

Is it coincidence? I notice MUCH better cpu handling now with v.46. Before I would wake in the morning and look at Battery Graph to find that, with no apps running through the night and wifi killed, the cpu would be doing regular little climbs up to about 30 or 40%. Now, it still shows cpu activity, but the percentages are so small as to be almost unnoticeable on Battery Graph.

found this code using the search bar

Code:
cp /opt/maemo/usr/lib/libFLAC.so.8.2.0 /usr/lib/libFLAC.so.8.2.0
then reboot.....test your camera (and audio too).

Edit: my problem was my audio and camera, but this post here only fixed audio (as i understood) but fixed my camera as well.
