it will not appear in your list, but when you make expenses in Oct the budget will be considered.

You can for example create a budget of £100 between

1st Sep 2010 until say 31st Aug 2013 and make it recur every month.

Now if you look in the usage graph for example, with dates between 1st Sep 2010 and 31st Dec2010 you will see the budget is £400.

In the list of budget or expense its not represented for every month or recur period, thats why the column for recur period is shown in the budget and expense lists.

Hope that clears your query.

Hallo,
I registered Buddy yesterday, and now I found some problem. I can't save any entries (budget or expenses) with date after 30th september 2010.
I saved some entries from last few months and everything works fine, but when I tried save actual expenses, they are not saved. Resp. message says it is saved, but it isn't.
Any idea where is problem?
Thanks for help

Sorry, I cant help much from what you just mentioned.
Could you tell me the steps you have taken so I can reproduce this or you could send me your data as a csv file using the export option in the app.

Before that , can you try again and see if the problem persists.

thanks.

Hi...have the same problem.
I'm registered user, created new category in expenses, create entry in that category. Buddy announced that record have been saved, but in overview of expenses that record is missing, while category persist.
It looks to me like records are not properly saved in the db.
Even when I manually deleted db file ( new one was automaticaly created after start of application ), problem persist.
BUT...when I change date on my N900 few months back ( July ), all records are saved as expected.
Buddy version is 0.2-4
I think it could be application problem....

Hi Stepo

h0nza reported his was not an issue.

Here is his email

"Hello,
it looks like I have solved it now.

In Buddy in app settings, there was by default date format dd-MMM-yyyy.
I changed it to dd-MM-yyyy and now everything works fine.

Thank you for your help and very usefull app
h0nza
"

Please try that and let me know.

Guy's, Ive lost my N900 while travelling and now Im without a phone to test or develop. I'll try and manage with the simulator but bear with me since it has its own issues.
I'll be saving up for another phone when I can, if anyone in London wishes to dispose his phone for a maemo developer pls let me know.
