I installed it and the phone became very strange: it was SLOW. Not much CPU used, no process using a lot of CPU, but it was very slow, it took a few seconds to switch application. Rebooted and it was the same. Uninstalled and it went back to normal.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Just noticed that USSD widget does not start properly on reboot. Actually it does "updating" forever. Removing and adding it back helps; seems that it comes up *before* some vital backend becomes available and gets stuck.

Try to purge the USSD-Widget

Code:
#gain root
root

#Purge all USSD-Widget Files
apt-get purge ussd-widget ussd4all

#Clean the Cache
apt-get clean

#Clean unused Packages
apt-get autoclean

#Clean old packages
apt-get autoremove

#Update the repository
apt-get update

#Install the USSD-Widget again
apt-get install ussd-widget

Hope this work

BTW
Sorry for the late post.

Just reinstalled it with the terminal and everything worked fine (in fact, it's still not working, but I think it is an issue with the telephony company, sometimes it timeouts).
