Any one tested the flipSync USB keyring?

Would be much more convenient to carry around; I'll grab one when my student loan comes through to test it.

To what value did you change it? what would be the best value to store permanentley for the device (to always be enabled even after boot)

Hostmode while charging

Plugged in memstick, by using http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...080#post907080 cable.
Started high speed hostmode, VBUS boost, and mounted.
THEN I plugged in the charger of cable nest linked above (it is very important to plug in the external charger after correct establishing of hostmode, particularly not before you've hit "VBUS boost on", in h-e-n GUI. Also do NOT connect the unpowered charger to cable after you started VBUS boost - either keep it plugged to cable from beginning and just plug into mains later, or first plug into mains and then to Y-cable)

t900:~# logger stopping vboost && boostoff
t900:~# ls /media/sda1/

I have an improved booston and boostoff script here, but it will work with the original one as well.
charger script is the one of ShadowJK: http://enivax.net/jk/n900/charge.sh.txt, only slightly renamed and some added debug prints.

To stop the whole thing, you first kill charger, then stop h-e-n

cheers

Hi Guys,

I just installed h-e-n and did some experiments.
I could connect to my nokia 6110 in mass storage mode. I could access the data, the mount/unmount button didn't work though. Had to mount it manually.
I managed to connect with a extrememory micro sd/ms reader and mount a micro sd formatted with fat32 with the mount button.
I managed to connect a Kingston MobiliteG2 SD/micrSD reader and mount the card via the gui.

Copied some data too with the card readers.

Thanks for all the work you put into this project.

Regards
Aydan

I believe that's the length of the cables, not the actual unit.
The unit is no bigger than a normal car alarm fob.

Sorry to be the one to ask joerg, but do we need to utilise the script you've linked to allow charging during h--e-n? Or is the existing release capable of charging with the above careful steps?
