eti1: well iw was in the repo already, i added a dependency to that already for that reason. but since my deb isn't in the repo, the stupid app manager won't go look for other dependecies, so you have to manually apt-get install iw no matter what...

Thanks for this, my router seems to be pretty bullet proof from basic attacks at the moment

hi,


Just got it al working with the wl bleeding edge drivers but
get an error message when turning on Inject/ aka sh load.sh ...

-> ifconfig: invalid hw-addr F4

Anyone got a clue what's causing that?

Good to hear. I've actually been asked to hack a few of my friend's and family's routers for this very reason.

Are you using v0.3?

This error comes from the script that is in your injection drivers folder. Basically it finds your current mac address, then resets it after the module have been loaded, but it looks like something is not going right.

Does it work anyway?

i think you need to disable monitor mode everytime you load or unload bleeding-edge drive..
.........................
open faircrack>monitor>make sure monitor mode is disable..
after then, you can safely load or unload driver....

hope this will help

i used the same version before with iw and wpa stop doing handshake !!!
so i dont think it's a suitable version for n900...

Hello

Suppose that I want to crack a WEP network. First I would use "Start Packet Capture" and when having enough packets captured I would use "Decrypt". Which makes me wonder: What is the purpose of "Packet Injection" and "Authenticate"?

I know that this might be a pretty basic question, but I would really appreciate an explanation.

Yea,

Just cracked the WEB key from en "befriended" lan in about 20 minutes. . .

So injection seems to work fine.. .


Grabbed me my own WPA handshake also... and cracked it if
if put the password in the word list..

So yea!!!! working great! Thanks!!

Cumbersome to deauth wpa clients though if your used to a great
GUI like you just made

Copy pasting on de N900.... one of the few times I had to get
the stylus out of the N900..

hello

first i installed
> PyQt
> Sudser
> Aircrack-ng
> John the Ripper
> Bleeding-edge packet injection drivers by lxp ( i donated , i have it)
> Macchanger (optional)

second i installed faircrack and hildon

but now one question

first i start with icon application ? or
first Load the driver

# cd MyDocs/wl1251-maemo/binary/compat-wireless
# sh load.sh

and second i begin icon application??
