this is mostly due to conflicts in your emmc. Try hooking ur device usb mass storage mode in maemo 5 to your pc and right click it then chec for errors. Also go to settings--> memory and check your memory for installable apps

go back to maemo, and click format on ur sd card in default file manager, but that will eventually erase all ur sdcard data

OK guys im having an issue with installing NITDroid, if you can help a n900 user out that will be much appreciated.

ok i have gone and got this link.
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...light=NITDroid

now i had a major issue that when running this:

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2
cd /home
mkdir /and
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid-0.0.9.tar
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb

it installed the .tar into my rootfs, then the error saying i do not have enough free space.
the first time i didnt relise this and put in the last step:

leafpad /etc/multiboot.d/1

and it went through to open leafpad but there was nothing there.

just to let you know i want to install NITDroid on a MMC.

i have gotten rid of the junk in the rootfs and is all back to normal, actually have saved some space now im running at 84.28 mb free. (via conky).
