Same here, after upgrade all images are deleted. This seems to be by design as there is a message in logfile of application manager:
Code:
Preparing to replace seriesfinale 0.6.5-1 (using .../seriesfinale_0.6.6-1_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement seriesfinale ...
Removing images folder: /home/user/.local/share/seriesfinale
After calling "update all" these images are getting fetched again but it takes ages and it's a lot of data to be transferred again. I'm having 51 series listed and I guess it's gonna be more than 30MB of image data! That's about the amount I have for one day in my data plan (1GB/month)

Would be nice if you could change following two things:
* no more pruning of images on upgrade
* moving storage folder to MyDocs or include it in backup

Hey wait, do you mean that all the images are stored in the filesystem instead of MyDocs?

Yes, look at the folder mentioned in appmanager output. It's the same folder after upgrade but while upgrade it's getting purged.

It just finished downloading all images again: 28MB in 194 image files.

Had a quick look at the .deb file and at first glance everything looks ok. There is a postrm shell script which includes the lines to delete the images folder. But I wonder why this file is called at upgrade. As far as I know an upgrade is something different from an uninstall-install-path. Maybe some other developer can help out at this point?
But nevertheless it would be better moving the images folder to MyDocs or at least to include it in osso backup and to leave that folder untouched when uninstalling. A message to the user indicating that there are files left could be displayed but usually it's not the developers job to clean up users directory. Debian packages usually leave config files and user generated files untouched when uninstalling so user can decide by himself what to keep and what to delete.

Please change that behaviour!

I have random crashes if update series individually, more than once at the same time. Race condition writing to the database?

Latest update wiped the images again. This time they did not come back even if I updated the shows manually. Is there a fix?

Ohhh, not cool.

Reverted to 0.6.5-1

ETA: Still no luck. 0.6.5-1 still doesn't update images.

On his blog, author says:

You can download it from here:

Don't think he checks here.
