We don't feed FB chat, the N900 does it natively and the browser works great for it. IMO, all a FB app would need is news feed, status update, like, comment, notifications and private messages.

Don't know if it's at all possible, but it'd be really great if an event you accept goes into the N900 calendar

I get "Load failed: url http://www.facebook.com/home.php" when trying to run.

and

"An error occured with qmlfbui. Please try again later."

Just before it.

Also, qmlviewer has a built-in video recording api, and i have figured out how to start recording, i just can't figure out how to keep recording for more than 1 second. Also, your qml app seems way more responsive than mine I wonder if the C++ helps that much.
The old code was without c++. The new video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9t-GXKFA4M

Is there any chance you could release this app for us to test? Even if its not finished and has limited funcionality, we would appreciate it greatly if you could give us a beta version of it

It looks awesome and I need this app for my N900!

We could also give valuable feedback and help you with bug testing.

and an option to create new albums . . . n900 doesn't have this. Only upload is integrated.

Since my time is very limited due tests I have to learn for, I think Kasvopus will be your choice. Even though I don't like full screen apps which force you to like the facebook colors ...

I've published the source code which is pretty unfinished here: http://gitorious.org/quickbook
There is no binary/package since I don't think it's ready for that. I hope there are still some projects left for me at the end of May, when my testing period ends
