That is just a plugin for MWS not the app itself.

I am a linux beginner, but i know some things.

I have demo version 1.6.2 installed: is it possible to extract it in someway? To begin i could make screenshots of the item in Application Manager to see what are the dependencies.

For now: i know it uses Qt 4.7.0 (that's what is says in 'about')

Lighttpd should be better than Apache for N900.

Nginx should be better than both for N900. I think I have a deb I ported from Debian lying around somewhere.

Here are some words from the MWS-developer himself:

It is probably a temporarily problem with the Ovi Store. But I recommend you to use Remote Multi Drive. Remote Multi Drive can do more than Mobile Web Server and works with IE.
And Remote Multi Drive will get lots of updates in the near feature
(multiple file and folder upload with java supported browsers).
Mobile Web Server update is hard, because it is very different from
Remote Multi Drive (uses threads instead of event driven methods).

Regards,
Istvan
