Yup hence before I installed the latest version from terminal I did a rm -rf /opt/meegoal following the log from the removal that it was unable to remove the directory...Still its linked to 0.6.0...

Even accounting for the directory, the version downloaded from Store when unpacked reports as v0.6.0 as you can see in the log...

Edit: Ensured I had done a clean removal still Store had an issue so installed via terminal, got the red icon which upon clicking does nothing:

Code:

So I think its the v0.6.0 issue as this time I ensured it was a clean purge...

Edit 2: To resolve the red icon I did the following which came with the same error as you initially had:
Code:

Have some issues too. While downloading from store there is an error message like in thedead1440s post (Unable to complete installation...).

Tryied to install it in terminal using:
Code:
apt-get install meegoal
There is an error message like:
Code:
...
Es wurden 1.189kB in 2s geholt
Fehlschlag beim Holen von exec:///usr/bin/osa -get 'meegoal'
Größe stimmt nicht überein...
(sorry for german message, it means that the 'size doesn't match')

It seems like there is an issue while downloading?!

In phones store client it shows v.0.7.3, but when you download from webstore it's still v.0.6.0
there's update notification but it doesn't work.

meanwhile installed latest from first post.

I wrote a mail to developer support, thanks for all the feedback, but I think it's a ovi-store related problem and out of my control.

*sigh*

got the following answer:
I understand that you were having issue in the installation process of your application after downloading it to your N950 device. Upon checking, I have verified that the content 'MeeGoal' is distributed only to Nokia N9 devices. I suggest that you download your application using a Nokia N9 devices. In the event that you experience the issue again, please email us back.
WTF?

I tested it in my N9, too, but I thought nokia told the support, that's the same OS on N950, so I didn't mentioned it in the first mail
Anyway, I wrote a reply to clarify this and to point out the wrong deb-file size.

Just today someone was telling me these are their diversionary tactics they use so that they just show holes in your report and hence don't need to actually inspect the app...

I downloaded v0.7.3 from fist post and tried to start it. After that I had some issues starting meegoal, which means that it didn't start at all (loading sceen and then back to home screen). Starting meegoal via terminal brought some error messages.

The solution was to delete the file meegoal.data in
Code:
home/user/MyDocs/.meegoal/
So if you have some issues starting meegoal maybe this is worth a try.
