Arg! I recently installed a new sound card, and althought it is a vast improvement over the previous one, I'm apparently suffering OldDriverLingeringAround Syndrome. Switching from one composition or player app to another freaks things out now. Cakewalk Sonar insists there's an inferior soundcard still on my system, and refuses to let me use high-end settings because of it.. Grrr... and I had mixing to do. I sure hope I don't have to reinstall XP 64 from scratch...

...but I thought re-installing XP from scratch was something that everyone has to do on a regular basis, like changing the oil in your car.

Yeah, it is, and I'm 3 years overdue.

Anyway, fixed most of the sound issues. Still some legacy driver and setting junk lingering, but it works better.

Well, it was a half-joke... the first song was very hillbilly, and the album does lean country...

Ooo... Tony just sent me a newer mix on "Who Am I" and I think this one is it! I created a richer instrumental for him to work from and the result is fantastic.

I'll update the mp3 later.

Oh, I've also added a new blog just for the virtual band, Freelance Rider Company: http://frco.wordpress.com/

More to come!
