I've been running your custom kernels for some time now, I honestly don't remember what the previous version was. I wasn't getting any errors, just the Nokia splash screen, and then a solid white notification light with a blank screen. I did the reflash, and now restoring applications. No one's fault but my own

@titan
I tried first to format it on an ubuntu-server, and mounted it there.
When I tried it on the n900 it would not mount (I did load the module)
Then I tried format it on n900 and it wouldn't mount on n900, but when I connected with usb to my ubuntu-server it mounted automatic.

someone on IRC pointed out that you need to disable the huge_files flag in the fs.
I'll try to enable huge_files (TBs on N900?) in the next version.

the new version maemo13 is updated to 2.6.28.10, contains several bugfix patches,
enables large file support (for ext4) and supports mounting of UBIFS rootfs image.
NILFS2 was removed.

Thanks! Seems to have installed successfully. I'm just curious, what were the several bugfix patches?

in addition to the 2.6.28.10 patches the gentoo filesystem patches from
http://dev.gentoo.org/~dsd/genpatches/trunk/2.6.28/
(most of them for ext4)

I've found the link on http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=47479
