@skrobi2: I am really sorry but I can't understand you.

Perhaps write what you want to say in your language (use very simple words and short sentences) and use google translate to get it into English and paste that here.

when you want to record a video, the screen freezes as you can see only the time of the recording goes.

(This is a high quality)

And trying to record a video HD720p quality. the image is black (you can see the recording time)

OK. So you DO get a video recorded but whilst recording you are having difficulties seeing the "action" on the n900 screen?

First-off: generally speaking the n900 behaves best with HD after a fresh start. So reboot. With play-back one can definitely get a situation where the dsp no longer does it´s job and you will only get going again after a reboot.

Secondly, you are using the DSP profile with kernel power, right?
That is, as root, running in terminal: "kernel-config load dsp".

I have had the screen image freeze on me whilst filming but the video gets captured nonetheless. At HD levels there may be slight stutters visible in the film as well.

Are we making progress?

Assuming you've downloaded libgstdsp.zip to /home/user/MyDocs :

Code:
root
cd /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10
unzip /home/user/MyDocs/libgstdsp.zip
You *must* have some package to unzip things, and ability to gain root, for it to work.
