Just out of curiosity, does each search function in the N9 involve tracker? The e-mail search for example, or the contacts one.

Update

All done, can't say there are any real visual differences. As the changelog says this is for stability and UI issue fixes.
Did you force the download&install somehow, or did the phone offer it to you? My Jolla doesn't say anything about update and I cannot find a way in the UI to force the check for updates.

Found it: Network connection up and then Settings app: System settings: About product. From top pulley menu: check updates.

<insert obligatory "have you tried turning it off and on>

Go to Settings->About product, pulley menu -> Check for updates

After update you got brighter on-screen text, mate. Have you noticed that?

what is the default way for syncing anything in Sailfish?
On Symbian and Maemo, MfE used to take care of all built-in PIM-syncing. Is MfE Sailfish's built-in sync protocol? If so, we absolutley some alternatives implemented...

Might be an idea to blank out your IMEI in those screenshots

It is MfE at the moment with many people asking for CalDAV and CardDAV support so that Google, Apple iCloud, ownCloud and many open standards based solutions would work. CalDAV at least used to work on the n9 but there never was a CardDAV accounts plugin.

SyncML is the other possibility as that works via buteo but without a GUI.
