Ideally, integration with CallNotify would be even better

Hmm, like, something else than the current blinking (same as SMS/E-mail)?

@skalogre: I think the integration would need to be in CallNotify, if you get the author to do it I'll be happy to supply him with the info he needs

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

How to check settings:

Open fMMS -> press the titlebar (where it says fMMS) -> Configuration -> next to where it says "Access Point" press "Configure". A new dialog opens where you have a few fields to fill in. If you are unsure what to put in these fields, go to http://wiki.maemo.org/MMS and look up your country/operator and enter everything _exactly_ like it says on that page.

If you already done that:
Open the list of applications, press 'More', press X-Terminal

You'll get a prompt where you enter:
cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
and then hit the enter key.

After doing this, attach your device to your computer, open it in your file explorer and you should see a file named "fmms.log", send this in an email to fmms@frals.se.

It's supposed to work already?

*tries again*

Nope. It vibrates and makes noises, but no blinking. This is with the "New MMS" type notification.

Hmm, come to think of it, I think you're right. I don't remember seeing it. I will send myself an MMS, see what happens.

Edit:

You're right, no LED blinking here, either, just the pop up and the glowing window thingie on the top left corner.

Found the problem! Since this notification type hijacks the email stuff, you have to have "E-mail message received" under "Notification light" in the settings.

I have another RFE then, which is probably already on the todo: address book lookup for the notification.
