Are there any suggestions on how to restore a backup taken on another Sailfish device?

While the microSD is found by running fdisk -l, it doesn't show up in "Storage" among the myriad of partitions, and nor does it show in the list of memory cards to restore from.

It was possible to move the backup file into the Documents folder in the nemo directory, but is there a way to execute a recovery using that backup file, say, using the command line to target that backup?

Try "zypper ref" and "zypper dup".
The sdcard fix was introduced in the last few days.

Is there somewhere where updates on this port are posted when they are released?

I think it's just "devel-su zypper ref" and "devel-su zypper up".
