Seriously, why do you care what Eldar says? He is known to rumor total bullsh it over the years.

I'd recommend to simply ignore him.

People care because he's at least trying to communicate. Nokia doesn't do that.

Communicate hahaha atleast we had some Open Source gurus at Nokia at bigger positions were are they now?

were has Elop communicated more than old CEO:s so far?

Does he even sayd the world open source or Meego btw??

I wouldnt be suprised if Elop 11 February go out and say:

1. Nokia will go WP7 and kill Meego

or:

2. Nokia will continue development with Meego but even more closed than in case of Maemo5...

As we all know Elop is for sure not comming from a company that likes open source. So he probadly feed closed source engineers more than those wo prefer be more open to the community.

That's true.
Though while i have been defending Eldar here his hate about Nokia has really taken of these past weeks with no idea what is true anymore, if anything.
He tweeted today that:
* N8 isnt popular at all - thats fail
* N8 1 mln sell out only - so nothing
* i know that 1 mln n8, a mln c7, 3 mln c6-01
Last week he said it was 1 million S^3 devices sold, after Nokia said they have sold 5 million he turned it to N8 fail while Timo Ihamuotila, CFO said in the Q4 report:
We are not really splitting that number by product, but we can say that N8 was really a big part of the mix and we can also say that the demand for N8 outstripped our ability to supply. There was a very good demand for that product, but overall, C7 sold a big amount, C6 came pretty late in the quarter, so less in the mix.
C6-01 isn't even available over here. Pretty much exactly the opposite of what Eldar is saying.

This eldar guy is really strange, the n8 is popular, its pretty obvious, so why deliberately posting false information? Makes a joke of himself.

Timo could've been talking about $$ figures and Eldar about shipping quantity. Neither was wrong in that case.
