I agree! back to the dell.. i heard somewhere there was a clip on speaker dock.. and those funky dell original back panels

I heard there was a USB and TV out dock like there was for the Archos Android.

Google "iphone Retina Display" if you want to know more about iphone's res. btw

Yeah i've seen that too, and a car dock also.. i'm sure there were some pictures out there..

who says that's the optimum pixel density?
Steve Jobs in his keynote speech today. He said that the human eye has difficulty in discerning improvements over 300 ppi at normal reading distances from the screen.

Do you take exception to that?

There is a table here of the pixel density of various devices.

I take exception to everything that happens in the reality distortion field, and anything that has nothing to do with the Dell product this thread is about.

engadget had a shot of the set, iirc. seemed like a strong indication that dell was in this for the long haul.

I agree! back to the dell.
Quite right, sorry for the diversion but it did serve to raise the issue of pixel density, which is important and which is generally omitted in manufacturers specifications.

Dell only says that the Streak has 'high pixel density' but don't say what the figure actually is. Which again is a point that I was making.

Does anybody know what it is?
