Hello Maemo-rian's (?) - Joined the forum yesterday and am trying to join the club when I find an N9 to buy. Have been mainly a Nokia user, and even kept my N97 for 5 years... ready to move on!

Have been combing eBay, and posted an add on the Buy/Sell zone here. So hope to find something soon!

Forgot to say that I grew up in Silicon Valley, lived in Zurich for 5+ years and now am near Barcelona. Mobile plans and bandwidth kind of suck in Spain, but that's life... At least it's sunny!

Hey there,

I joined the Community almost one year ago and I really like it. When I bought my N900 last year I was searching for a PDA-like device with a nice and fast calender application. I didn't know about the NIT series and then I accidentally saw it on Wikipedia. I couldn't resist getting one since I was using Debian for a couple of years.

Now i got my calender application...and I see, this is not the only thing the N900 can do. I will keep it and use if for ages.

Thank you guys for keeping it alive

Hi everyone,
I don't think I said hello before.
So Hello.

I have the N900. Which I love but was getting bored with it.

I was able to renew my phone plan but could not get the N9 so I settled for the Galaxy SIII.
Well 4 days later and I now have an N9 64Gig in my grubby little mits.
If you are in Melbourne I know where there is one 64gig left.

The dilemma! Do I keep the SIII and sell the N9? Keep the N9 and flog off the SIII or keep both with one as a back up and because this is the last Nokia be WP takes over? Yeah I'm sentimental not that I think it will be a collectable. Every phone bar my 1st has been Nokia. I'm not a programmer or developer, although I'd love to learn to program(maybe one day I will), but I loved the N900's interface so I was planning on using the N9 for a day or 2 to see if I liked it. if it had a keyboard it would be perfect. That said I love the SIII. I didn't think I would but I do.

Chris

Just bought a n900 yesterday. I wanted something more Linux-y than my Nexus One. Reading through these forums a bit I think I'm going to love this phone.

Hello everyone! I hail from Chicago btw.
