Have you guys with the starting problem tried an uninstall-reinstall?

Also, when you start it up, do you see it starting to open and it never loads/crashed, or does just nothing happen?

(I have nothing to do with this app, so I can't guarantee any proper advice, but I'll see if I can help)

@Surreptitious

There seem to be two separate issues, the first is that some people have the program crash when in use.
For others (like me) the program doesn't start at all.
Is there any chance you could run the command I posted earlier in your terminal so I could see what package I'm missing?

Either way it would help if you could run the program from the terminal:
$ FreOffice
(Notice the caps!, without the dollar sign) and see what it prints out.

Right, I've run the first one. Gives;
kofficemeego: /usr/lib/libspreadodf.so.7

Second one prints out;
Accelerator starts

(And then the program starts). Hope this was helpful.

Does not start on my device (extras devel enabled)
With gdb:
...
(no debugging symbols found)
Accelerator starts

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x40f795a8 in QObject::setParent(QObject*) () from /usr/lib/libQtCore.so.4
0x40f795a8 <_ZN7QObject9setParentEPS_+4>: ldr r0, [r0, #4]
(gdb) q
The program is running. Quit anyway (and kill it)? (y or n) y

Is this version not compatible with PR1.2? When I update through appmanager I get error message with somthing like " conflict with programpackage"

Edit: Uninstalled old version. Installed new with " apt-get -y install freoffice". It took ages to download but when done it worked!
I can even now open some email attachments directly, sweet!!

I also had the update crash on opening.

I uninstalled FreOffice, then reinstalled it, & now it seems to work OK.

Spacebar problem is fixed, have not had time to check it out more.

I can confirm that removing and installing FreOffice really gets rid of the missing lib problem, which made it not start at all.

I have not had it crash lately, can't say anything about that.

Thanks @Surreptitious,

There is a dependency problem that the new freoffice package doesn't require the newest dependencies,
It also seemed to give me some problems with the kdepim packages, if anyone installed those.

Other then that seems to work fine!
