I just updated my cssu package and i can't click on widgets or shortcuts. I can rearrange them but not access the menu to add more.

No problem here with the media player widget, works perfectly.

Yes, for me too after the last update, only four desktop are available.

po files can be edited with poedit...

I once did a german translation for the "custom ringtones" app. we used http://www.transifex.net/ for this.

They're a Qt thing; Status area applets on Maemo have to use GTK+

I have just tried it and got my USB key(16GB Sandisk cruzer) mounted. See the data/folders on the key using the stock file manager. Discount/dis-mount without issue.
