maybe they will make commercial QT free as well *G*

But what a shame for Sygic - first being asked to delay shipping the Nav solution - and then might end up with competitor - that is free.... But lets see - 55 minutes to go..

Nokia blog just released more information.


"Today’s big news from Nokia is that they’re making walk and drive navigation free on their smartphones with the new version of Ovi Maps. These features used to cost extra. The new Ovi Maps is immediately available for download at nokia.com/maps for 10 Nokia handsets, including the popular Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia E72, with more Nokia smartphones expected to be added in the coming weeks."

This is huge news considering that sygic was about to announce a non free nav sw for n900. More reasons to own a n900

Google has had free navigation on their Android devices for as long as I can remember. Long before "late 2009".
Thought you need a connection that to work with OVI maps you don't and only works in USA.

Great news got a say! I wasn't even expecting this.
