I think your powertop results are normal for a dormant n900. For example:
Code:
 Total wakeups  1260,  42.0/s | IRQ  974,  32.5/s | Timers  286,   9.5/s
HW wakeups      116,   3.9/s |     Real gp_timers expired  174,   5.8/s
From my n900, terminal active with powertop.
As Reinob wrote: what is the battery drain you see: 3 hrs etc?

2.hildon-home
3.hildon-status-m
4.hildon-destop
5.dbus-daemon
6.mce
7.pulseaudio

and this is the effect from them. now i write with text (i watch from system info gadjet on desktop n900) :
250mhz ->2% then
250mhz ->10% then
250mhz ->4% then
250mhz ->20% then
250mhz ->6% then
250mhz ->22% then
250mhz ->2% then
250mhz ->15% then
250mhz ->6% then
250mhz ->17% then
250mhz ->11% then
250mhz ->26% then
and repeting again.. and again.

Okay do this and post
root
powertop > /home/user/MyDocs/powertop.txt

using above command it will create a txt file in home directory i.e N900 (filemanager)
please don't open anything before doing this for good information not even conky
