1. Integrated address book with gsm, google talk and skype is something I haven't seen on other devices before.
2. Taskswitcher is another one I would really miss if I ever need to change to some different device.
3. Not to forget web browser which is best in mobile world.

the sounds are simply stunning, especially when plugging in the usb cable, and the IM sounds are soft and optimally discrete.

so i was watching real madrid - milan and someone special sent a skype im asking whether i had a specific file. sure i had - on my desktop computer. but i was having a jolly good time watching soccer at a local pub! what to do? open vncviewer, login remotely and fix the file. simple as that.

n900 - pure awsomeness.

I've done the same thing a couple of times from the N900. I've written a script that does an ssh tunnel to my router, then runs "tsocks vncviewer" ... I like to do my vnc through an encrypted tunnel.

ok as only possatives:

all the little touches like
  • the "task switcher" icon lighting up when there is a new IM or email
  • the "slide to unlock" if you press power button when locked (totally redundant, but there for any Maciban that need it )
  • the keyboard
  • the "system info" area and associated popup (that has icons inteliggently added!)
  • the almost magical ability to figure out what my fat fingers were intending to hit/click
  • tons of little cool touches that you discover over time
  • the potential for cool apps (the snes demo for instance!)

Don't worry, we'll soon open "Summit N900 recipients, report why you think it sucks"

(And btw, I suggest we stop polluting this thread until we have an N900 and something good to say about it )

Okay, in the spirit of fairness:

I'm hating that I want to keep the touchscreen clean. I'm hating that fingerprints foil me in that. I'm hating that I keep polishing the thing to pearly perfection. Damn the OCD!
