Ah... I guess ignorance is bliss, hmm?

Well, I hope you are happy now Nintendo... Everything Nintendo-related is gone from the maemo.org repositories now, probably because of this...

so I see nintendo going after google before they set their sites on nokia
The difference is that the video of N900 was posted by Nokia employee on the official Nokia blog. I don't think it was deliberately done by Nokia, but more of a mistake on the part of the employee - he obviously didn't think it through before posting.

Nintendo has been trying to stop emulators for 10 years now. They were not succesful, and now they're repeating the same game again.
Don't they ever get it, or do they still sell SNES units?

Emulators don't violate IP on games. It may violate IP on the hardware, but I doubt that as it was all created from clean scratch.
If Nintendo would go after sites offering pirated ROMs I can fully understand that. But going after emulators, or companies that happen to sell a product for which emulators are available, is just not leading anywhere. Nintendo is IMHO happy to finally having found a company behind emulators for the first time. That's why they love to sue Nokia.

Nintendo sucks when it comes to greed. Honestly, you can't say otherwise. There is something called "gaming libraries" where all video games currently availible on the market can be borrowed for free - just like books. Of course by saying all I mean all but those published by Nintendo.

I would predict that Nintendo will fail suing again.
They even failed when directly suing the creators of snes9x (iirc it was almost 10 years ago) and after a few weeks, the snes9x site was back again. Emulators are not illegal, no matter what Nintendo likes to think.
