UPDATE: For me this only happens when I add a new .desktop theme file to the .images folder.

When the .images folder is as normal this doesn't happen!

Unfortunately, I am completely stuck with an unwanted background set. Downloading the eMMC bin right now

I can no longer set the background after changing it once. I have reflashed, it just breaks again after doing it once.

Hmm.... I thought I had it fixed. It just does it again after selecting the background one time.

Please look at the other thread here called stuck wallpaper on desktop. EXACTLY the same problem and there is a bugzilla report there which explains why it seems to happen.

I found the problem. I erased the .desktop file I added in Images folder and now I can select backgrounds without an issue.
