Rather sick imo.
Aw c'mon, you don't want to make kathy fall in love and leave this place. We'd miss her

Any man who took me on would have to take on the bears as well.

Not sure why a houseful of bears is 'sick'. I suppose if you spend a fortune on them, then there's something off, just as if you spend a fortune on a houseful of anything. But it's quite possible to get a houseful of bears at very little expense. 90% of mine are either gifts or bears I've been specifically asked to take in (for example when the owner has died and the next of kin don't like to 'get rid of' the bear, but don't want to keep it either). Almost all the ones I've bought myself in the last 20 years or so have been second hand purchases from charity shops or stalls, or ones I've accidentally won in charity raffles.

I would welcome bears! My wife collects elephants, over 400 so far. When I asked her to stop, she started collecting lighthouses. Her largest is 4 feet high.

Psychological traumatic behaviour, in most cases.

Don't get me wrong, she's most likely sane & just fascinated with bears!

Don't anger the Teddy Bears.

(ps: I love teddy bears too). Even the demonic ones.

Who said it's hurtful?

It seems abnormal, when people are over fascinated with one thing.
It gets out of hand when the space on the sofa is taken by creatures made in China with dust mites in them.
