Yes we can.

Your phone must support it though and if not, a lady reads it for ya.

The UK system is always quite fun as they put Easter egss in and do other stuff.

A couple of years ago at Christmas time you could send certain codes such as '#jingle#' to have it play songs at the recipient (I forgot to try it this year). For a while they used Tom Baker's voice to read the messages, which immediately resulted in all the Dr. Who fans sending 'Doctir' or 'Exterminate' - good stuff.

On a related note, my e51 also refuses to guess what contact's number is capable of receiving an SMS and will ask. OK, the interface is different but my point is that it has always been as easy to (sometimes accidentally) send SMS to land lines as mobiles in Nokia land

Please vote for this, if we could get a check box, or an option to remove sms that would be best!

Hi:

Is there a way to hide/remove the SMS button for non-mobile phone numbers in contact's info?

When a contact is open, for each phone number (mobile or not) a SMS button is shown, and for non-mobile phone numbers it does not make any sense.

The thread "Remove/Hide SMS button for non-mobile phone numbers (contacts)" with one post has been merged into this thread.
