RX-44 is the N810 (RX-48 is the 810WM, and is irrelevant ), but his point was that Tessco won't sell to him; have you bought from them, and if so what creative truth-telling is required to persuade them you're a dealer?

Wasn't RX-44 810 and RX-48 810WE?

Someone on the forums was suggesting as a neat project trying to transplant an N810 screen onto an N800 to see if it was possible (barring any differences in ribbon connector.) I'd be willing to buy an N810 screen to try this if anyone is placing orders. I'm in NJ USA.

I found this today. Don't know if it would be useful, but they do list the LCD screen.

I may order the "A Cover Assembly", and paint it jet black.

Hadn't thought of that... N810 screen would really be nice on my 800.

what about adding the wimax module to an n810? will this be possible or would we need to buy a new motherboard as well?

I need a back cover and a stand for the 800.

But 21.95 for a piece of plastic back cover seems insane to me

It's a little steep, but if you really wanna make a second backplate with amenities, it could be worth that.

Either way I think you'd need a new N810WME back cover because I think the WiMax module requires a little more clearance to accomodate it.
