Look around:

In every damn european country its LUMIA LUMIA LUMIA when it comes to Nokia.

People in european also most the times buys mid/hiend phones.

Btw. Have you seen any marketing of the lowend Asha devices in europe lately?

The "next billion" is not european...

Another example: We can be glad if we get a Nokia 808 device in european because they did not plan to release it in sweden , as an example, until alot of people complained because it got alot of attention in swedish media.

then this will become an opportunity for importers ...

if u compare to compititor samsung,
meltemi is to wp7 , what bada is to android ...

but the difference is that any gnu/linux related project is what I care off ...

and i guess there is no connection between tizen and meltemi....

Anyway I am exited about Qt future ...

I would have been more excited if it wasn't for the "low end MeeGo smartphones", if you own an N9 now it'll surely be a downgrade?

That article linked in the first post doesn't even mention the name Meltemi, it says Meego. Where'd everyone get that Meltemi thing from?

and btw:

the adjective is "european", the noun is "EUROPE"! If you don't know that, I'm wondering how you know so much about what is happening there...

previously before 6months when i mailed Elop and asked him whether u ll ship any MeeGo phones he said"the company doesnt have the idea to ship any MeeGo phones for now"but now he says "v cant reveal company future ideas but v surely have some exciting things ahead"
this makes me say that there is possibility for release of those phones..
